Vectorworks allows you to draw up your drafts easily and quickly. Translating them into 3D models is quick and easy too for visualisation and often you can work in both 2D and 3D simultaneously. Once you're happy with the layout, the design can be refined to include all the hard landscaping and soft landscaping elements.  Drawings are to scale and can include different scaled and angled views of specific elements.  More than that, it can produce reports on quantities, areas, perimeters and just about anything you have included in your design.  Dimensions are easily added as is explanatory text.  As you work, you create a database of useful, re-usable elements. You can share files with other design professionals and surveyors with ease.

So, where do you go to learn?
Our unique, specialist, modular training course specifically for designers covers the basics to get you started, and then takes you through the typical workflow of a designer, so you achieve results and confidence as soon as possible. Vectorworks need not replace your beautiful artistry. It's a tool which you can use as much or as little as you need to speed up the process of producing your own unique designs. I can teach you to use the tools - just think of it as a new way to draw - and apply that knowledge to YOUR business. The design work is still all yours and yes - you can even make it look hand-drawn if you still want to do that!

One to One Flexible Training offers fast achievement.
Our students have told us that they attended large public courses but felt overwhelmed and unable to ask detailed questions.  One to one training, or even in a small group allows you the flexibility to guide the course the way YOU want to work, or even work on one of your own projects instead of those we provide on the course.  It really is up to YOU how you want to build your course.  We have courses suitable for garden designers, architects, property developers, Interior designers, set designers and event planners. We also run a traditional classroom based curriculum if you do prefer to learn with others.

Who can we train?
We have courses suitable for garden designers just starting out in the world of Vectorworks, as well as Interior Designers who may be starting out but may wish to improve their presentation skills. We train Architects who already have considerable skills, but aren't aware of the full power of Vectorworks. They can save enormous amounts of time in their processes and perhaps also avoid the need for redrawing and training staff in further applications.We are also introducing masterclasses for those who've been using Vectorworks for a while and want to focus on specific areas in depth.
